Today's Webtip: Lion Tales
I used to be the type of user who would install OS beats and every opportunity. The type who spends more time experimenting with various Linux distros than actually working with them. The type who eventually learns to set up an extra machine just for system experiments, because losing everything in a system update is a serious pain in the behind.
Things have changed. I've gotten lazy. And maybe just a little bit bored. I no longer feel the need to have access to the three major systems, and I have downloaded a live distro in years.
Now I wait and watch.
When it comes to OSX updates, one of the best places to do that is macintouch.com. Theynot only do a good job of following Apple news, but provide quite a bit of first ate articles and an excellent forum for user feedback.
IN the case of Lion, that means a multi-part review by Robert Mohns, and section of reader reports featuring users experiences and questions.
It's worth a read before crawling into the Lions cage.
