Prime Minister George Papandreou is trying to balance EU demands for austerity with the popular anti-austerity mood.

Greece is still trying to agree on a way to get the EU-IMF bailout, but there is more and more talk of the possibilitiy that the country will default on its debts. If that were to happen, the fear is that Greece would take other countries down with it, setting off a domino effect that could reverberate around the world. ORF's Raimund Löw is at the EU Finance Ministers' meeting in Luxembourg, and he explains the possible knock-on effect of Greece going bankrupt.

Now the US and Vietnam have agreed a compensation package for the victims, and the clean-up is getting underway.
