www.fakeart.de is the website featuring the works of the artists Sandra Sperhake and Dieter Hoppe. It's a collection of photos of found and displayed objects that bear are just a bit similar to the works of other, well known, artists.

According to the website, their intention is to help people take a new look at the world around them, inviting people to become more open to the "Magie der Dinge".

The cynics out there might also be reminded of the frequent criticism of modern art, the phrase spoken by frustrated non-artists for several decades:

"My kid could do that"

Whatever your perspective might be, it's worth taking a look at. There's several levels of funny at work here.
