Today's Webtip: Acoustic Kitty

Tinfoil hats don't work against cats.

It's a very strange world out there. It's one of the best reasons to keep an open mind toward conspiracy theories. Because the stuff that has actually been done in the name of State Security, espionage and power maintenance is almost as strange as the stuff other people imagine.

I'm sure you have heard of the dogs of war. Ever since America has had a chance to celebrate its bloodlust, there have been breathless media reports about the canine team member. Not that it's anything new. Dogs have been trained to hunt, kill and maim in the name of power for centuries.

But soldiering dogs are nothing compared to the attempt at creating a spying cat.

Seriously. The U.S. Government spent around 20 million dollars in the 60's to make an acoustic cat. Because who would suspect an innocent kitty?

You can probably imagine how it all worked out, but it's still worth it to read the article at Wonderland.

And while you are there you could also check out some of the other articles. There is some fun stuff for people who like reading about stuff like science and health.
