One of the greatest things about the rise of social networking has been the death of chain mails and panic emails about misunderstood urban legends. Rather than landing in my inbox, they now end up on peoples wall, where they are much easier to ignore.
but sometimes, those things are just to stupid to let them go. Sometimes you just have to set things straight.
And how does one do that?
Lifehacker has a very simple and clear guide to stopping FUD in it's tracks. A lot of it is probably already known to many of you, but there were one or two tricks that were new to me, and might be of use to you.
