Today's Webtip: Real Money
Money is a pretty freaky thing. Aside from the usual time spent thinking about not having enough and how to get more, it can be a serious trip to think about what it really is.
And that can leave you feeling like you are a participant in a mass hallucination.
Take the case of Brazil. A country drowning in 80% inflation. Until a government stepped in and gave four friends a chance to step up and try something new.
They created a fake currency. A fake currency that (yes I'm over simplifying) managed to stabilize the economy, reduce inflation, and eventually become the real thing.
Literally.
