Today's Webtip: Hacker fashion
15 years ago I was a graphic designer and system administrator. I paid outrageous sums for dialup access, spent the nights in other peoples offices knocking off my friends in Marathon, played in some bands, and owned a computer that couldn't keep up with my son's phone these days.
And I am pretty sure I was almost always wearing ripped jeans, a t-shirt, and a leather jacket. And boots. Broken boots.
Apparently I was doing something wrong.

The truly hip and talented young digital types of yesteryear spent much more time and money worrying about their appearance. They also wore pagers and day-glo.
Well, they did in the movie Hackers anyway. Yes, 15 years ago Angelina Jolie played a hot young hacker in a film many people wish they could forget. For those who would rather remember (or celebrate) there is a lovely collection of stills available to guide your development of the perfect cyber-punk wardrobe. For those who were there, it might bring back some memories you didn't know you had, and for those who weren't it might give you something to laugh at.
