The last couple of years has been an interesting time for people with lots of cash. Aside form the problems involved with the whole global financial meltdown, it would appear that it's becoming more and more difficult to find a place to park the gains.

The Swiss Bank account, traditional haven of money moguls little green friends, has become somewhat less secret than it used to be. Between CD's and whilstle blowers, the wall of banking secrecy is starting to look a bit more like a famous alpine cheese...

Bradley Birkenfeld is one of the private bankers who helped blow some wholes in the traditional wall of silence. An employee of UBS, he took his insider information to the U.S. government. The result wasn't quite what he expected.
