Today's Webtip: PDS 10

one of the highlights of the St. Pöltner summer.

LAMES is one of the things that makes St. Pölten lebenswert. For me anyway. The little culture group that could in the south of St. Pölten has been doing it's best to bring interesting projects to the city for quite some time.

One of the big events of the summer is Parque Del Sol. A mini arts/tech/music festival featuring workshops, lectures, installations and, of course, music. In the best of times it's a great excuse to camp out and get some sun and fun, and in the worst of times it's a bit wet, but just as hands on.

You can check out the details for this years symposium here:
blog.lames.at

And you can follow the happenings through the eyes of SuperBertram and SuperSusi (4 exciting streams!) here:
super.lames.at

Right now I'm having a really hard time deciding how to spend my time there. Wegwerfpizza are hosting an analog drum computer workshop, building a replacement drumer out of old bike parts and other things they have found.

Birgit Rampula of www.amateur-fashion.at is helping people learn to do screen printing.

Ulla Rauter & Stefanie Wuschitz will be sharing the wonders of Arduino micro-controllers and sustainable tech: blog.esel.at

Stefan Lutschinger and Fabian Tompsett will be presenting the film Game of War and inviting you to play some www.classwargames.net

Those are just a few of the things taking place. Entrance is free, you just need to actually make it to the sunny south of St. Pölten.
