If you are the type who is concerned about what Facebook might be letting out about you, and you have spent some time trying your best to get your privacy settings just the way you want, you would also probably like to know that it has all worked.
Facebook has a tool that let's you check what they are actually publishing, but that might not be trustworthy enough.
If that's the case, then you have a new tool you can try.
Type your ID or alias into the Facebook privacy check to see what elements of your profile are getting out and about.
It's not the most user friendly tool on the net, so if you need a little help, check out Lifehackers post about it. The comments also have some good tips, so make sure to read them as well.
