Today's Webtip: Stupid Car Tricks

I know I shouldn't, but I would try this at home if I could.

Driving games rock. It might be a sign of old-age in a gamer, but the simple fact that I can last more than 30 seconds in online mode just makes me all the more likely to come back for more, even if I can't compete with the big kids.

I have always been amazed at how a good game can really give me a feel for the physics involved. It's almost spooky when you realize that the Peugot 206c feels completely different from a Dodge Viper.

It's almost enough to convince some of the less clever amongst us, that their game skills might actually work in real life.

Apparently that aint quite the case. Particularly for those of you who prefer playing in third person mode rather than being cramped into the cockpit. A group of intrepid explorers managed to prove this to themselves by rigging up a massive pickup with some fancy cameras and blacked up windows.

The results were about what I expected.
