Today's Webtip: Myouterspace.com

William Shatner bravely shills what no man has shilled before.

William Shatner is my hero. Well, one of them. Not because of his extra ordinary acting skills, although they are always good for moments of absolute amazement, but because he appears to know no fear.

His latest brave endeavor into the unknown is working as spokesman for a brand new social networking site.

myouterspace.com

myouterspace.com is apparently meant to be a platform for people who want to work in the Science Fiction field. Writers, animators, actors, directors...

They can all post profiles listing their skills, and if they are lucky, they might get asked to join a Starship crew. To make something science fictiony. Or something.

I have to admit, I haven't been able to get myself to actually register, but Old Bills promotional videos are so much fun, that the site is worth a look even if you don't feel the need to break into the brave new world of science fiction.

This clip is my favorite. It's more fun than a transporter-room full of tribbles.
