Today's Webtip: Cyberlab 2010

more fun in St. Pölten.

I like using big words. It makes them so much more filling when it comes time to eat them.

A lot has changed in St. Pölten since I first moved out to the sunny banks of the Traisen. The Festspielhaus for example. The current crew there have been bringing some interesting projects out my way, and one of them just got going last weekend.

Cyberlab 2010 is a pretty crazy mix of stuff. They had a symposium last weekend, a handful of artists are looking at the point where art and technology collide, students at the FH are producing lots of video documentation, there is going to be a panel discussion at the end of the week and the whole thing is going to wrap up with a LAN party at the Festspielhaus.

The wordpress blog documenting the whole thing already has quite a bit of content, and will continue to be updated throughout the week.

My favorite right now, has to be the video for the Tiller Girls. A group of dancing robots who choreograph themselves. It's one of the works you can see by checking out the labs link on the site.
