Today's Webtip: DJ Spooky

presents Terra Nova: Sinfonia Antarctica

Some of you may have heard of DJ Spooky. The experimental electronic and hip hop musician has written science fiction, films scores, and is a professor of music mediated art at the European Graduate School.

He is also a legend.

A legend who has managed to find his way to the lovely Landeshauptstadt St. Pölten. Tonight he will be performing the Austrian premier of his multimedia work Terra Nova: Sinfonia Antarctica. The result of a summers worth of time on some of the main ice-fields in Antartica.

But rather than explain it, why don't you just watch the trailer for it?

Or perhaps an example of the performance?

The performance starts tonight at 19:30. For those of you who might want to make it to the show, you can find out more info here.

And for all of you who would love to go but just can't make it to my neck of the woods. Well, you could just tune it to a live stream on Campus Radio 94.4
