Today's Webtip: Curling explained

One of the Winter Olympics great mysteries gets a little less mysterious. And metalized.

So, the Olympics are here, the Drama Llamas have come home to roost, and the news stories are full of Skis.

And some spangle.

But the various alpine sports are pretty well known, and even the most uninformed couch-potato can become an armchair trainer after 15 minutes of Figure Skating.

The truly challenging winter sport is.....

Curling.

Fortunately for us, a few people have done their best to take the ? out of the sport for us. Andrew Price over at the Good blog has found a Graph/Chart that does a pretty good job of making the basic ideas behind the brooms and stones as clear as possible.

As an extra special bonus, there is a link to a Metal Hammer video. Yes, the Swedish Metal band has gotten together with the Swedish Women's Curling team and produced a music video.

That truly rocks.
