Predicting the future can be fun. Maybe that's why people keep doing it.
Of course, it can also be really hard, and that might be why people keep getting it wrong. Of course, it can be rather surprsicing just how many things people can get right.
Future fashion is not usually one of those things.

In 2010 it was rediscovered and blogged. You can now read what Mr. Hoyle thought the future would be like, complete with annotations and comments from people living in that future.
