Today's Webtip: Obechi

because the party didn't seem to happen.

Yesterday was the day! Millions of people across the planet gathered together to celebrate the release of market leader Microsoft's most reason OS offering.

Windows 7 release parties were the talk of the town for months, and I was anxiously awaiting the exciting pics of succesful install fests from all over the globe. Which is why I originally planned to dedicate today's tip to bucketloads of photos documenting the good times.

But I couildn't find any.

Searching google and flickr only left me with many copies of the MS marketing material, and one or two pictures of Release candidate installation events, but nothing from a real Windows 7 release party.

Of course, it also meant that I needed to find something else for the webtip. Fortunately I had a few spare links up my sleeve.

So since it's friday, how about some Flash fun?

Obechi is one of those surprisingly simple games that can still get the best of you, while making you want to come back for more. If you need a way to pad the time before you do something more productive (like actually host a Windows 7 release party perhaps?) I would suggest you give it a go.

I would like to think it's not quite as easy as it looks, becaue I really sort of suck at it...
