Bibliodyssey is a wonderful blog about books, illustrations, science, and other fun stuff. It has an article linking to the Deutsche Fotothek, which is an online archive featuring books, illustrations and other fun stuff.
Now both of these sites would be worthy of a webtip, and anyone who wants to get adventerous and explore them should be prepared to spent quite a bit of time looking at fabulous things.
But it would be rather nice if you chose to start at the point where these to collections come together.
