Today's Webtip: The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize

24 hours later. Confusion, chaos, and lots of wingnut fun.

Glenn Greenwald is one of those rare things in American journalism these days. A writer who isn't afraid to call a spade a spade, and will actually tackle stories well before the main stream media time.

He did it well under Bush II, and he has been continuing to do it with President Obama. So as I was trying to make sense out of the whole Nobel Prize thing, checking out his column was at the top of my list of things to do.

And I wasn't dissappointed.

As a matter of fact, he pretty much made the article I was working on worse than redundant. So if you want an interesting article with some of the reasoning people who are warry of this award might be using, it is well worth your time.

My time too. Feel free to read it and add an imaginary Indeed at the end. That would be about all I could add to it.

And if you want to see what the opposition in the states is making of all this, salon has another article with a rundown of the current state of the (red pundit) nation. It turns out I wasn't so far off on that point either...
