Today's Webtip: Horrorific Photos
- Fasching
- Halloween
2 chances to get dressed up and goofy with a bunch of friends. 2 perfect excuses to let the inner you out for a spin. 2 times the fun compared to the losers back home.
In other words, Halloween in Austria rocks. Or it could, if people would just learn to quit worrying and love the tomb.
Seriously. Halloween can be a lot of fun if you can get rid of the premade marketing crap they are trying to sell you right now and just focus on one thing. Creativity.

Good jokes, bad jokes, scary stuff, cosplay...
Any and all of it is the right thing to do. There is so much more out there than plastic scream masks and bad vampire costumes. And once you have started, it's pretty easy to get hooked.
So to help y'all out, I have decided to post some links to collections of potentially inspirational costumery. Think of this as advance notice. Yes, there will be a test.
You have one month to prepare.
The Flickr Halloween Costume Group
And finally, some seasonal awesomeness from Make.
(and for all you cultural reactionaries, feel free to think of this as a collection of costume ideas for Fasching. mkay?)
And for those who like it audible, the webtip is now available as a podcast. You'll still have to come here to get the links, but that's okay right?
