Today's webtip: Got Asbestos?
I can only assume I'm not the only person who found the whole circus around the Graf situation resembled a particularly aggressive flame-war. For people who haven't been actively following the conflict, the recent spate of media coverage feels a bit like wandering across the scattered remnants of a forum fight.
While online coverage has been the best way of following the whole story, the one thing I keep missing are the relevant links. Having access to the appropriate links can put a whole new perspective on the thing. It also reinforces the feeling of a flame-war.
Like many flame-wars this one is anything but trivial, and it may well be worth your time to fill in the gaps left by primary media coverage with a little bit of online time.
I can't even pretend to provide a comprehensive list of pertenant links, but I can provide a few starting points.
- www.unzensuriert.at is a blogpost that would seem to put a few things in perspective, especially for people who were wondering why this is all blowing up right now.
- That post was at least partially a reaction to the project www.kellernazisinderfpoe.at from Arial Muzicant.
- An explanation of the significance of the term Kellernazi can be found here. www.lansky.at
But!
I need some help trying to get behind the Linksterrorismus comment. Is that a subtle reference to some particular story, or is it a simple generalization meant to push buttons? And how would calling someone a linksterrorist compare to calling someone a kellernazi, both in respect to Austrian and European laws?
School me please.
