Today's webtip: nastynets.com
Nastynets.com is apparently a lot more than it appears to be. On the surface it's a linkblog from a surfing club packed up in a simple white wordpress theme.
But!
If you start doing something silly like reading metafilter comments, or checking google, it turns out that it is much more complicated than all that.
Not just any artists mind you. Net artists. The types who can find all sorts of words for all sorts of banalities. And if you start to read the words, something that originally looked like the work of an incompetent webmaster with some friends with a good eye for clever sites starts to look like the work of highfalutin theorists who have a good eye for clever sites. And a dry sense of humor.
Maybe.
I don't really know. It all gets a bit complicated and makes my head spin and sets off all kind of allergic reactions. Just like Ice Cream.

Which makes it a pretty damn clever excuse for me to get two scoops of chocolate and sit down with the retrofetishists to enjoy the fruits of their labors.
