In 2008 the Deutsche Kinemathek - Museum für Film und Fernsehen begann researching and collecting film and photos from the years 1989/90. The result is now online and it's a lovely collection of personal memories of the fall of the wall.

Right now they have over 2000 photos and 32 films. Some include recollections, and of course people are posting their memories in comments to the files.
It's a lovely little online museum that is well worth a visit.
