Today's webtip: Drawing Together
Comics are great. I mean the old school kind with paper and everything. I'm still schlepping my collection about after all these years, and they still manage to make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

And like most comic fans, I went through a phase of trying to draw my own. I spent years drawing bulky guys in tight suits, practicing the perfect boot and doing my best to instill some kind of dynamics. It was hard. I had one or two books to go by, but no chance of ever getting real instruction from anyone in person. But now...
You can find all sorts of fabulous instructional videos out there. Whole sites put together to help you learn how to draw. It's amazing, and I can sit and watch talented artists do there things for hours.
Especially when those artists are some of the greats of the comic book business. John Romita, Joe Kubert, John Buscema, Bill Sienkiewicz, Dave Gibbons and Travis Charest have all taken a few minutes to show us how its done. The funny thing is, that after watching Sienkiewicz, he pretty much worked like his art looks.
