FM4 to go

Digital radio turned out to be the internet.

Which didn't surprise anyone with a clue. But since they seem to be rather rare in certain places, we got to watch all sorts of cash get tossed at other solutions that involved lots of money being thrown at new investments in infrastructure.

In the meantime the internet was turning into the replacement for paper, radio and television.

In other words, digital radio ended up being a stream and some html.
And that in turn is why some of us didn't care about the fact that the iphone didn't have an FM tuner. Because with the iphone (and most other smart and not so smart phones these days) you can get darn near every radio station on the planet.

And now you can do it in style too! With the fresh and tasty FM4 iPhone app put together by the caring individuals from Loop New Media. Not content to sit around and wait, they did what all good makers do and made something. A lovely little app that lets you focus on what's really important.
