Today's webtip: Float on

this might be a more realistic way to make every kid's dream come true.

When I was a kid, I used to dream of floating down our local creek on a home made raft. You know, one of those floating things made out of logs lashed together to create a dry, comfy platform.

I never actually managed to find enough easily transportable logs to actually make one. My few attempts with the bits of wood I had on hand usually went terribly wrong, and to be honest, after finally seeing a working model in the wild, they really aren't such comfy or dry things anyways. I was going about it all wrong.

A pontoon raft made out of plastic bottles and other bits would not only have been more realistic, it looks like it might be much more comfortable.
