Todays webtip: Finding Happiness
The TED talks a one of lifes little treasures. thousands of clever folk who get together and talk about things you probably never bothered to hink of yourself. Better yet, the talks are then shared with everyone who wasn't clever enough to get an invitation. Online.
There are so many great talks, that it is almost impossible to pick a favorite. Which is why I am not even going to try, and will simply point you to the most recent one I stumbled across.
I might not agree with the some of the TED talks presenters, but I really enjoy watching people who can tell a good story or make a good presentation. And Malcolm Gladwell can at least tell a good story. He takes us from the search for the perfect Pepsi (guided by a Psychophysicist) to an exmaination of what hapiness is as illustrated through the quest for the perfect spaghetti sauce.
