Tim Hetherington and Chris Hondros are two photojournalists who were killed yesterday while covering events in Libya.They both left behind an impressive body of work, photo's covering conflicts over the last couple of decades from across the planet.
Wether you view the conflict coverage of media organizations as propaganda, war porn, or an important humanitarian contribution, it's hard to deny that these two men accomplished some extraordinary things.
One of Mr. Hetherington's works that I am particularly fond of was an experimental film he finished last year. It's called Diary, and the good folks at BoingBoing made me aware of it this morning.
