Gewalterfahrungen an LGBTI
Die GayCopsAustria haben gemeinsam mit der IG Soziologie Forschung eine Studie zum Thema „Gewalterfahrungen an LGBTI“ präsentiert. Das Ergebnis: LGBTI-Personen sind zehnmal so oft Opfer von Gewalt als der Rest der Bevölkerung. Bereits 2013 kam eine EU-weite Studie zu einem ähnlichen Ergebnis. Lukas Lottersberger war bei der Präsentation der aktuellen Österreich-Studie und hat mit zwei LGBT-Polizeibeamten gesprochen.
20 Jahre Augustin
Im Oktober 1995 ist mit 24 Seiten die erste Ausgabe der Straßenzeitung Augustin erschienen. 20 Jahre später erscheint der Augustin nun alle 14 Tage, ist auf die doppelte Seitenanzahl gewachsen, hat eine Auflage zwischen 20.000-25.000 und wird von mehr als 500 Verkäufer_innen verkauft. Im Studio begrüßen wir aus der Augustin-Redaktion: Lisa Bolyos und Rainer Krispel. Tipp: im 20. Jubiläumsjahr gibt es einige Geburtstags-Veranstaltungen die hier aufgelistet sind.

"ELECTRONICA 1: The Time Machine" heißt das neue Album des französischen Elektronikmusikers, der seit den 70er Jahren Musik zwischen Kitsch und Futurismus produziert. Für sein neues Projekt hat er sich mit Leuten wie M83, Tangerine Dream, Gesaffelstein, Armin van Buuren oder 3D von Massive Attack zusammengetan. Katharina Seidler hat sich durch den Retrofuturistischen Pop durchgehört.

Wenn uns wer einen drei Stunden und 10 Minuten langen Mitschnitt schickt, dann muss er schon sehr, sehr gut sein, dass wir ihn auch wirklich senden. Zuzana Grimm aus Toronto ist mehr als nur sehr, sehr gut – sie ist weltklasse!

“I met Leanne (LeeLee Mishi) at least 17 years ago as part of the Chicks Dig It Collective, which was a launch pad for girl Djs in Toronto, that happened every Monday night in the years 1997-2000. We always liked each other's musical selection but never played together till about 4-5 years ago, when one of Toronto's promoters ( Hans Ohm) booked us together in one night..with 2 mixers and 4 turntables in a little sweaty Italian bar. We did so well unrehearsed, that we became a tech-house phenomenon together. We both love house and techno and everything that happens in between, so the set never gets monotonous.
Leanne's energy beside me in the booth is the most fun/safe/sexy/funkey...she will most likely be showing up right on time or a bit late, but has the smile of a goddess and a musical selection of a veteran dj, so I'm honoured to play with her each time ;) Love this one, she is special.....”
