• Turkish forces remove precious tomb from Syria.

With convoy of over 90 armoured vehicles, Turkish forces have been seen streaming through Kobane on the way to the remains of the ancient tomb of the grandfather of the founder of the Ottoman Empire, Osman I.Their mission was to evacuate soldiers guarding the tomb who were under threat from Islamic state militants, as well as to remove the ancient relics and the historic tomb. Dorian Jomes explains the significance of the mission.

• Myanmar violence

Fighting has erupted once again in the Kokang regions of Myanmar/Burma between ethnic Chinese Kokang rebels and government forces. Jonah Fisher reports from the region on the latest developments.

• Goodluck Jonathan and the Nigerian elections

The Nigerian elections postponed from this month are now scheduled to take place on March 28th. Richard Dowden of the Royal African Society explains the political landscape and the chances that President Goodluck Jonathan will be able to hang onto power.

• Terror threat to shopping malls in US, Canada and UK.

"A new phase" of terrorism: US security chef Jeh Johnson is warning people after a new terror threat to American, British and Canadian malls. In a video, the terror group Al-Shabab “informed us that they will carry out attacks on shopping malls”. Our Washington Correspondent Simon Mark says the Obama administration is taking the video very seriously.

Musik: Waxahatchee
Waxahatchee ist der Name eines Flusses in Alabama. Katie Crutchfield ist dort aufgewachsen und hat ihr Soloprojekt nach dem Gewässer benannt. Ihre Musik ist selbst in den stillsten Momenten vom Geist des Aufbegehrens beseelt - in der Liebe, im Leben - was nicht zuletzt an ihrem Herkunftsort liegen könnte. Demnächst erscheint das dritte Waxahatchee Album. Christian Lehner hat die vorm Heimatwasser Flüchtende in Berlin zum Interview getroffen.

Like mich am Arsch: Was ist gut und böse zugleich? Das Internet! "Like mich am Arsch" heißt ein Track von Deichkinds aktuellem Album "Niveau Weshalb Warum". Die Band erzählt auf FM4, was man alles machen kann um Ablenkung und Glück auch im analogen Alltag zu finden! (Susi Ondrusova)

Die Frage "For How Much Longer Do We Tolerate Mass Murder?", die The Pop Group 1980 im Titel ihres zweiten Albums stellten, darf mit "35 years... and counting" beantwortet werden. So lange hat es auch gedauert, bis jetzt das neue Album der 2010 reformierten Post-Punk-Pioniere aus Bristol erscheint. Es heißt "Citizen Zombie", woraus man schon einmal schließen kann, dass die Welt in der Zwischenzeit nicht unbedingt eine bessere geworden ist. Robert Rotifer hat den legendär beredten Pop Group-Chef Mark Stewart, der dies und überhaupt alles sonst erklären kann, in London zum Interview getroffen.
