Israel and Hamas have begun observing a three-day ceasefire in Gaza after three and half weeks of fighting which has killed more than 1,450 Palestinians and more than 60 Israelis. On Thursday Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would destroy Hamas’ terror tunnel network “with or without a ceasefire”. We find out more about Israel’s tactics from Dr. Eado Hecht, a defence analyst who teaches military theory and military history at Bar-Ilan University, Haifa University and at the Israeli Defence Forces Command and General Staff College.

Edward Snowden’s temporary asylum status in Russia has expired. The former U.S. National Security Agency systems administrator who exposed US intelligence practices won the right to stay in Moscow a year ago. Nitz (Slowenien)
A member of the Synaptic crew, which is as well home to the Synaptic Pathways record label, Nitz is also a name that appears regularly on a well known slovenian Chilli Space compilations, which released debut double vinyl in March. His first EP was released in the year 2009 on Bio-Mechanics. Last year he also released several remixes for artists like Bleupulp from the web label Bleepsequence and a remix for an UK artist Aepiel on Retrospective Zoology. He also holds a residency in slovenian underground club K4 from 2009. Nitz has an unique sound which is best described as micro-dub and slow experimental techno.
