Games: Game Science Center
Im Sommer wird in der Nähe von "Checkpoint Charlie" in Berlin ein interaktives Innovationsmuseum für Games-Technologien eröffnen. Darin soll es um unkonventionelle Interfaces und allgemein um die Zukunft von Computerspielen und der dazugehörigen Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion gehen. Robert Glashüttner hat mit dem Game-Science-Center-Mitgründer und Projektmanager Cay Kellinghusen gesprochen.

Film: Under The Skin
Das Crossing Europe Filmfestival eröffnet heute Abend in Linz. Rund 200 europäische Filme werden da gezeigt und von einer täglichen Niteline am Dancefloor des O.K. begleitet. Einer der vier Eröffnungsfilme wird hierzulande ein rares Vergnügen sein: Denn "Under The Skin" von Videoclip-Macher und dem "Sexy Beast"-Regisseur Jonathan Glazer wird in Österreich keinen offiziellen Kinostart haben. Vamp Scarlett Johansson cruist mit einem Lieferwagen durch die Arbeiterviertel Schottlands um Männer aufzugabeln, die sie anschließend verschlingt. Die Verführerin ist ein Alien in Menschengestalt und der elektronische Score der Britin Mica Levi ("Micachu") bietet die wundersamsten Klänge, die die Leinwand im letzten Jahr hören hat lassen. Mica Levi wird heute abend auch am O.K. in Linz auftreten. Petra Erdmann hat Regisseur Jonathan Glazer und Scarlett Johansson zum Interview getroffen.

Aus Anlass des Todes des österreichischen Filmregisseurs Michael Glawogger ("Contact High", "Workingman's Death", uvm.) wiederholt FM4 ein Doppelzimmer Spezial. Elisabeth Scharang hat vor einigen Jahren ausführlich mit Glawogger über seine wilden 70er Jahre in Graz, seine Anfänge als Filmemacher in einem marxistischen Filmclub und seine künstlerischen Perspektiven als filmischer Weltenbummler gesprochen. Die Erstausstrahlung war am 12. Dezember 2006 zu hören.

Mit Blick über den Tellerrand werden hier ausgetretene Booking-Pfade verlassen und der leicht verdaulicher Party-Tristesse etwas entgegengesetzt. Neben Clubnights und DJ-Kollektiv, der Konzertreihe bigMAMA und der Radioshow via Londons SUB.FM und Radio Helsinki gibt es seit zwei Jahren auch disko404 Records. Mitte April erscheint die nächste 12˝ mit Tracks des Wieners IZC an der Schnittstelle von Techno und Grime. (Malmoe )

Simon/off und Izc sind zu Gast im Celeste und kommen vorher auf ein Interview und DJ Set ins Studio. Die Grazer bringen nagelneuen, unkonventionellen Stoff für die Ohren und erzählen, wie es sich zur Zeit in Graz feiert.

Florian Stöffelbauer aka Heap (V ARE, Vienna). Moving to Vienna in Autumn 2013 meant a lot to Florian Stöffelbauer aka Heap as he has kept an eye on the Viennese scene for quite a long time before. Meeting a lot of like-minded people in a short time also inspired the popping up Vinyl-head to do his thing now: collecting and playing music he loves and bringing that music to people. As Heap is host of a monthly party at Tonstube together with local hero Curley Sue and member of V ARE alongside Joja, BCKSRCKR and Goldcut Crates you will hear more from him soon.

And another first time on the Dogs Bollocks we proudly present Mi:low (Molotov Crew, Vienna). "Ich bin 23 Jahre alt, komme ursprünglich aus dem Salzkammergut und bin seit ein paar Monaten in Wien wohnhaft. Ich bin bei der Molotov Crew dabei und seit heuer auch Mitglied bei Seriouz Seriez Family welche schon seit 1998 Partys in Linz veranstaltet. Mit dem Auflegen beschäftige ich mich seit Anfang 2010. Gelernt hab' ich eigentlich das Meiste über meinen großen Bruder. Der hat da ein bisschen als Mentor fungiert - mittlerweile hat sich aber der Spieß umgedreht (was D'n'B angeht). Begonnen habe ich mit Liquid Drum and Bass aufzulegen, leg' aber mittlerweile deepen und neurofunkigen D'n'B genauso auf. Neben dem D'n'b-Gschichtl leg' auch seit 2 Jahren HipHop auch auf. Warum!? - Weil das das ist, womit ich groß geworden bin und es ein guter und schöner Ausgleich ist."

Dj Rak3te (RAW & Klub Sir3ne): Inspiriert von klassischem Dub und Roots Reggae, 70s, 80s und Steppers Dub, begann Dj Rak3te 2001 seine Vinyl Sammlerstücke erstmals aufzulegen. 2003 mit dem Dubstep-Virus und dem typischen UK-Bass-Sound infiziert, begann für Rak3te eine stetige Suche nach neuen Sounds und führte ihn über UK Garage, 2Step, UK Funky zu Techno, House, und Juke. Rak3te konzipierte 2007 die Idee zur Veranstaltungsreihe "Klub Sir3ne" in der Wiener Fluc Wanne. Seit Oktober 2010 veranstaltet er auch gemeinsam mit den DJs Odd, Se.Vero, Koe und Beda Ranks die monatliche Veranstaltung "RAW – monthly Dubstep thursdays in Vienna", ebenfalls in der Fluc Wanne/Wien.
