Doch wie wichtig sind die Olympischen Spiele für SnowboarderInnen. Simon Welebil spricht darüber mit den RiderInnen beim Pleasure Jam Contest am Dachstein-Gletscher.
Local Natives
Local Natives sind eine Indierock-Band aus Los Angeles, die seit einigen Alben zusammenspielt. Tolle Stimmen, tolle Songs. Das aktuelle Album, "Humming Bird", wurde von The-National-Mitglied Aaron Dessner produziert. Gestern spoielten die Local Natives im Flex in Wien. Eva Umbauer bat die Band nach ihrer Ankunft zu Interview und Acoustic-Session.
Novemberpogrome vor 75 Jahren
Nach der Nacht vom 9. auf den 10. November 1938 war für die Juden im Deutschen Reih klar, dass sie nicht nur um ihr Vermögen oder ihre Bürgerrechte, sondern um ihr Leben fürchten mussten. Von oberster Führungsebene des NS-Staats angeordnet begannen SA- und SS-Truppen Juden anzugreifen, jüdische Geschäfte und Synagogen zu zerstören, in Wien beteiligte sich sogar die Bevölkerung an den Übergriffen. Simon Welebil spricht mit der Historikerin Brigitte Bailer über die Bedeutung der Novemberpogrome für die weitere Shoah und zeichnet die Ereignisse der „Reichskristallnacht“ in Wien nach.
Gedenkveranstaltungen zum 75. Jahrestag der Novemberpogrome hat die Nationalratspräsidentin Barbara Prammer auf der Website des Parlaments gesammelt.
