"High5" orientiert sich stark am schon vor einigen Jahren eingestampften "GIGA TV": viel Geplauder, informelle Ästhetik, jede Menge Content. Heart facts:
Speakers Corner - It's simple: a stack full of speakers in the corner of the fluc_wanne (which is L-shaped). Also, it's a meeting corner for ambitious sound heads. Plus, the majority of the music we play comes from the London area or the UK in general or is influenced by the UK Sound.
- Music
Speakers Corner is all about subbass heavy electronic music such as Dubstep, Techno, UK Garage, Dubtechno. However, it also streches out to Grime, Juke, Trap, House, Dub Reggae etc. The focus is on intelligent, deep, epic, dark and minimal bass music. You will not hear annoying midrange electro noise, cheesy, hollow or filthy stuff.
- Attitude
What really counts at Speakers Corner is the sound itself. It's not about the DJ, the names, this and that. It's about frequencies, beats and soundscapes, and all of that on a certain level. For that purpose we built our own Soundsystem, which we will set up at the venue every time.

Dan Lodig (Pomelo)
In the early nineties Dan Lodig was one of the driving forces of Vienna's emerging techno-scene, and he made a name for himself far beyond the Austrian borders thanks to his exceptional DJ skills. Together with Art Vega he runs Pomelo since 1994. And he cooked up a very tasty Electro Mix
