Inside Occupy
Man nennt ihn den „Anti-Führer von Occupy Wall Street“: David Graeber war von Anfang an an den New Yorker Protesten beteiligt und hat bei der Organisation und der Formulierung der Anliegen mitgewirkt. Der Anthropologe ist überzeugter Anarchist und ein erfahrener Aktivist, der u.a. bei Demonstrationen gegen den G8-Gipfel in Genua im Jahr 2001 sowie gegen das World Economic Forum in New York 2002 und erst kürzlich bei Studentenprotesten in Großbritannien mit dabei war. Sein neues Buch “Inside Occupy” wurde soeben auf Deutsch veröffentlicht; diesen Samstag spricht David Graeber bei FM4 Reality Check über seine Anfänge, seine Erfahrungen mit Occupy und darüber, wie sich Protestbewegungen im Laufe der Zeit entwickelt haben.

Anti-Atom-Volksbegehren startet nicht
Es hätte das erste EU-weite Volksbegehren werden sollen. Atomgegner in ganz Europa wollten gestern beginnen, Unterschriften für einen europaweiten Atomausstieg zu sammeln. Doch die EU-Kommission hat den Text des Volksbegehrens abgelehnt. Die Aktivistinnen und Aktivisten wundern sich: Will die EU-Kommission ihnen jetzt auch noch vorschreiben, wogegen sie protestieren dürfen? Jein. Denn ein Volksbegehren richtet sich an die EU-Kommission. Und für Atomfragen ist die gar nicht zuständig, dafür gibts ja Euratom. Klaus Kastenhofer von Global 2000 ist zum Leider-Nicht-Start des von ihm unterstützten Volksbegehrens zu Gast im Studio.
