Donauinselfest 2011
Heute startet das große Gratisfestival auf der Insel, wir schauen natürlich live auf die FM4-Bühne und bereiten uns auf die große Live-Sendung vor.

FM4 Ehrenamtlich: Living Books
Wenn es nach dem Verein "Living Books" geht, braucht man zum Lesen nicht immer ein Buch. Manchmal tut es auch ein Mensch. Die unterschiedlichsten Menschen - Polizisten, Muslime, Asylwerber, Banker - stellen sich zur Verfügung, um für 30 Minuten ausgeborgt zu werden. D.h. um Gespräche zu führen und so Vorurteile abzubauen und Infos aus erster Hand weiterzugeben. Sowohl die lebenden Bücher als auch diejenigen, die die menschliche Bibliothek betreiben, arbeiten ehrenamtlich. Mari Lang war bei der letzten "Living Books" Veranstaltung in der Brunnenpassage im 16. Bezirk in Wien dabei.

Frauenfußball WM in Deutschland
Am 26.6. beginnt in Deutschland die Frauenfußball Weltmeisterschaft. Ein Sommermärchen soll es werden, mit besserem Ausgang für das deutsche Team als vor drei Jahren. Aber wer ist noch dabei? Und wer hat noch Chancen auf den Titel? Ute Hölzl hat sich die Vorrundengruppen genauer angeschaut.

Started djing about 84/85 providing mixes for breakdancers, Moved onto mixing for pirate radio stations in the late 80s/90s. took a break and only covered the mobile disco scene(yawn) then came back in the millenium and now dj at various nightclubs around the country.

Jam City ( Night Slugs , United Kingdom )
Jam City discovered Grime around 2003 which changed his perception of music. It sounded totally alien and experimental whilst still having a direct energy at club level. He then found out about Chicago Trax Records and pretty much wanted to live inside the Trax cover of a Chicago sunset. A couple of years after that he started making his own tracks and edits, the rest is Jam City. Jam City makes romantic grimey house for the club or the jeep or a walk through a waterpark at night.
