Today's Webtip: Living as the undead

an article about the people who believe they are no longer alive.

Zombies are big business these days. But most of the post-zombie apocalypse stories focus on life as a survivor.

Have you ever wondered what it might be like from the other side? Aside from Warm Bodies I haven't run into to many stories from that perspective.

I have however run into some articles on a medical condition that is about as close as you might want to get. Cotard's Delusion (also know as Walking Corpse Syndrome) is a condition that causes people do believe they are no longer alive.

It sounds absolutely horrifying, and is extremely rare.

There is also a fascinating article on the condition at thechirurgeonsapprentice.com, a medical history website that is well worth your time.
